Plaza Flamingo, Salsa in The City pt2

Written by roylen on Wednesday, January 26th, 2011

Latin rhythms, dancing, liquor and a restaurant that is open all night. My first visit to the nightclub at Plaza Flamingo in Toronto will definitely not be my last. After years of passing by I finally dropped in with Kendra, we had supper, caught a few colorful and sensuous performances and then head upstairs to the night club.

The nightclub still rocks an old 70s discotheque feel complete with disco ball and diner style booths looking down on the huge dance floor. There is a small stage, two bars and servers fluttering around ready to get you liquored up for the night. As with most Toronto nightclubs bottle service and VIP are available.

We went upstairs pretty much as soon as they opened it up, there was still ample room, as couples lined up ready to get dancing lessons from the pros. Like I said the place look like it was straight from the 70s I kept expecting the servers to come gliding up on roller blades. All this aside it was good fun the music great the instructors graceful knowledgeable and hot.

In no time the place started filling up, the lessons were put aside the party crowd came in and very soon you were in the throngs of hot Latino music even hotter patrons and a really great time.

Leave your inhibitions at home grab your dancing shoes and head down to plaza flamingos at night for a great Latin party.
